Kim Mahoney, DVM
Introducing Dr. Kim Mahoney:
Recently joining our team at FHTC, Dr. Mahoney brings more than a decade of experience in feline medicine and surgery. Her broad background in feline practice gives her a whole-cat perspective, crucial to addressing multiple intertwining issues so common in geriatrics. In addition to her expertise, we appreciate her integrity and sense of compassion.
Since graduating from The University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Mahoney has practiced in the Seattle area exclusively on cats. She is committed to providing the highest level of care to her feline patients, balancing her passion for managing complex geriatric health issues with a realistic family-focused approach. She believes that all cats and their people deserve respect and kindness in a safe and welcoming environment. She enjoys bridging communication gaps to help people understand their cat’s health issues, as well as ensuring wellbeing and happiness for all.
When not in the office, you may find Dr. Mahoney taking in the beautiful PNW - hiking, canoeing, or camping with her husband and twin daughters. She also shares her home with two senior cats and a dog.
